BEAVERS

January 2011 - Welcome back after the Christmas and New Year break; please note payments are now due for this term; we would appreciate prompt payment, thank you.

January 2011 - We now have some parents that have volunteered to become either Beaver leaders or Parent helpers so this should ensure the long term survival of the Beaver Colony. However any offers of help are always appreciated; please speak to the Beaver Leader.

GROUP

Join the parents’ committee - Our parents’ committee is the link between the cub leaders and the parents. The committee helps with recruiting new cubs and raising funds, looks after the rota for parent helpers and sets the level of subscriptions. They always welcome new members. Meetings usually take place two or three times a year.

We also occasionally ask for help with maintenance of the cub hut (painting walls, putting up display boards, mowing the grass, etc); if any parents have specialist skills in the building trade and are prepared to lend a hand, we would be happy to hear from you.
